| FAMILY STONE featuring Little Sister and Rose Stone Vet (Little Sister) Stone is the youngest of Sly, Freddie, and Rose Stone. Vet joined Sly & The Family Stone as a backing vocalist. She went on the road with the group, playing such interesting venues as Lil' Bo Peeps in San Francisco, The Sugar Shack in Boston, celebrated Madison Square Garden and legendary Woodstock. Vet's evolution would eventually culminate in the creation of Little Sister, a dynamic trio of women who were an integral part of Sly & The Family Stone from the beginning. 2005 found Vet a member of the Praise & Worship Team at Evangelist Temple Fellowship Center in Vallejo, California, Pastored by her brother, Elder Frederick Stewart (Freddie Stone). Rose is the middle sister. Rose Stone is known as a lead vocal and keyboardist of Sly and the Family Stone. She sang before the King of Morocco and has performed in the largest venues around the world. Rose was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Rhythm and Blues Hall of Fame with several gold and platinum records. In 2006, The Family was honored at the Grammys. In 1965 he formed a group called Freddie and the Stone Souls. The group played various nightclubs and dances in the San Francisco area. In 1967, Sly and the Family Stone was born. As the naked eye tells the story, there is nothing more to the making of Sly and the Family Stone than a collaboration of two brothers. As they say, "the rest is history". As a musician, songwriter, and producer, Freddie has written songs for his sister, Rose, brother Sylvester (Sly Stone), and Larry Graham.
